I have been waiting….and waiting to bring this piece out and the weather finally cooperated! I love a sleek and simple shirt dress and this color couldn’t be more on point. It takes the guessing game out of getting dressed. I don’t consider myself to be lazy when it comes to clothes, but I do like a style that looks and feels effortless yet chic. When I spotted this dress at Zara a few months back, I knew this would be on repeat all summer long.
This shade of blue goes perfectly with a good camel color. Seriously one of my favorite color combos to date. I styled this dress with a pair of Tahari, snake-skin chunky heels which are oh-so comfortable and go with just about anything. And chunky heels are my latest obsession. Long gone are the days of sky-high stilettos. And even though I’m all about the gold jewelry, I do like to switch things up. This outfit was just calling for some boho, vintage silvery jewelry! These pieces were all purchased separately, yet they all go together. I tend to let my accessories do more of the talking lately. And I love when an outfit can carry me from day to night- most of us are super busy and versatility counts!

We’re headed out to New York this weekend to celebrate a friend’s wedding and this lady is going to be a bride’s maid. There’s a first for everything!
